This was established in 2020 at the Crop Protection Department, Njala University, Njala Campus Moyamba with funding from EU through the Boosting Agriculture and Food Security (BAFS) Project in the Ministry of Agriculture. The factory is used to rear natural enemies for the control of key insect pest such as Fall Armyworm. Both local and imported natural enemies are being reared and trails conducted at farmer fields to ascertain their efficiency towards the management of the intended pest.
